UPC buy TV3 for €80m

Liberty Global has announced an80m take-over of TV3 from Doughty Hanson & Co. The international telecommunications and television company had its eye on the Irish broadcaster for some time, with the takeover being announced today. CEO of UPC Ireland,Magnus Ternsj said of the purchase, “The investment we are making today secures the long-term future of TV3″.
